New narratives to save the world

How to change the world? Facilitator Garry Turner leads Tom van der Lubbe (Viisi Mortgages), Sahana Chattopadhyay and Haluk Can Hur through a discussion about new narratives that include everyone. “We should no longer confine ourselves to a linear way of thinking, but realise that organisations are living, circular systems: everything we do comes back to us or to future generations.”

What makes a business successful? Is that growth, turnover, progress? Or is it its contribution to a better world? And what narrative best conveys the story?

All four are opinion makers in their own way. Take Haluk can Hur. He does not believe in hierarchical leadership and put it into practice by firing himself as CEO of the chemical company he had set up himself.

Garry Turner worked in business for twenty years before he turned the helm. As a coach and facilitator, he now helps leaders find a sustainable and inclusive way of working.

Sahana Chattopadhyay is founder of Proteeti Consulting.  As keynote speaker and coach she aims to build a world in which everyone can participate.

Tom van der Lubbe is co-founder of Viisi. As a passionate entrepreneur, he supports other entrepreneurs with a focus on sustainability. For example, he is a member of the Council of Advice of Het Portaal, a communication and consultancy company, and SUPERUSE studios, an architecture and design agency.
